These terms are an agreement between you and NK Hardware LLC ("we", "us"), the provider of Presenter Companion ("the app"). They govern your purchase and use of the app. By buying or using the app, you agree to them.
Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on the number of machines your plan allows (Solo: 1; Team: 5). Activation is enforced per machine; you may deactivate a machine to move your license. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license key beyond your permitted activations.
The app requires your own OpenAI API key, which powers transcription, voice, and answers. (Anthropic and Google keys are additionally supported for answer generation on a best-effort basis.) You are responsible for your usage and charges with those providers and for complying with their terms. The app sends your content directly to the provider you configure; see our Privacy Policy. Transcription (Listen and voice) uses OpenAI, so meeting audio is sent to OpenAI regardless of the provider you choose for answers.
The app can transcribe meeting audio. Laws on recording and transcribing conversations vary by jurisdiction, and some require the consent of all parties. You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consent and for complying with all applicable laws before using the Listen feature. You warrant that you will disclose recording/transcription to participants as required. We are not liable for your use of the feature in violation of law.
Use the app for lawful purposes. Do not use it to deceive people in contexts where your own unaided knowledge is being assessed (e.g. proctored exams or interviews), or in any way that violates the rights of others or the terms of platforms you use it alongside.
A 14-day free trial is available before purchase. Refund requests are handled per our published refund policy; a refunded or charged-back license is revoked and will stop working. We may revoke licenses obtained fraudulently.
Your purchase includes updates for one year. We may change or discontinue features; we’ll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI outputs can be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying anything before relying on it, especially pricing, security, legal, or competitive claims. Screen-capture exclusion depends on the other application’s capture method and is not guaranteed in every configuration (notably full-desktop shares).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
